1. Security
It is difficult for the external exhaust fume hood to protect the experimental personnel in multiple directions during the experimental operation, and it cannot provide real-time safety information of the experimental operation. The LED light flashing and sound alarm system on the top of the clean air fume hood can timely reflect whether all the operating parameters of the fume hood are running normally, and can receive safety alarm information in time in case of danger to protect the health and safety of the experimenters.
2. Service life
Ordinary exhaust fume hoods are prone to aging. Since the installation involves various air ducts, lines, and the piping design of the entire laboratory, once a problem occurs, it is difficult to troubleshoot, and it is not suitable for reuse. The clean air fume hood is a ductless fume hood, which is easy to install and move. It can be used for more than ten years under normal conditions, and it can also be reused when the laboratory is moved.
3. Energy consumption
The power of an exhaust fume hood fan ranges from 1,500 watts to tens of thousands of watts, and it works at least 8 to 10 hours a day, resulting in huge energy consumption. The clean air fume hood mainly recycles the clean air after adsorption and filtration in the room. The power of each fume hood is between 30 watts and 120 watts, and the energy consumption is almost negligible.
4. Principle:
a. Control the diffusion of chemicals into the air at the source
b. The working principle of adsorption by molecular activated carbon filter
c. Relying on the interaction force between molecules
